XMPL (pronounced example, or iɡˈzampəl) is a Canadian-based music and culture magazine, which was founded in 2019 by Faisal "Sneaker Buddha" Alma and Marvin Calderon. The online publication focuses on new music, interviews, hip-hop culture and editorial photography.[1]

Search XMPL (magazine) on Amazon.XMPL originally launched in 2018 as a music website with a focus on interviewing artists through podcast episodes[2] before changing to an online magazine in January 2019.

Each issue of XMPL features interviews with popular and rising music artists. Past covers include artists such as Kardinal Offishall, Georgia Ku, James Worthy and LANY.

The magazine also releases "city editions" – which feature artists from different major Canadian cities on the cover.[3] The first city edition of XMPL featured emerging artists from Detroit-neighbor and border city, Windsor, ON - hometown of popular artists such as Tamia and Richie Hawtin.
