XOYO is a nightclub in London. It is located on Cowper Street near Old Street station in Islington.

History[edit]

The two-room club opened in 2010,[1] occupying a converted print works.

It was bought and renovated by The Columbo Group.[2][3]

In 2017, XOYO was nominated for Club of the Year at the Electronic Music Awards.

XOYO was voted one of the world’s top 100 clubs by DJ Mag in 2020.[4]

Style[edit]

The music policy varies from night to night, covering house, disco, techno and hip-hop.

Eats Everything became the club’s first resident in January 2015.[5] The 2 Bears, Jackmaster, Simian Mobile Disco, Skream, Benji B, Bicep, Tiga, Heidi, Andy C, The Black Madonna (now The Blessed Madonna) and Erol Alkan have followed with residencies of their own.

In November 2014, XOYO launched Gloria's alongside polysexual East London collective Sink the Pink,[6] a mixed gay and straight night. Breakbot, Dimitri From Paris, Kim Ann Foxman and Krystal Klear have performed at the event.
