Composition[edit]
"X" is a heavy metal[1][2], indie pop[3], and sunshine pop[6] song that features contradicting verses and melodies between blisteringly brutal heavy metal in which the singer begs to be made bloody, and peaceful verses, accompanied by delightful harmonies. The song is in the key of F# minor with a BPM of 114.[7]
