Xiamen Xiangyu Co., Ltd. (Chinese: 厦门象屿股份有限公司) is a Chinese metals company in commodity trading, logistics and smelting. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Xiamen, the company is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol SSE: 600057. It operates as a subsidiary of XMXYG Corporation, a municipal state-owned enterprise under the supervision of the Xiamen SASAC.
Supply Chain and Logistics
Xiamen Xiangyu manages an expansive portfolio in commodity logistics, including 11 railway cargo stations and 47 dedicated lines, handling 45 million tonnes annually.[1] It also operates several international logistics corridors between China and Southeast Asia, as well as China-Europe rail connections.[1]
Stainless Steel Project in Indonesia
Xiamen Xiangyu is a major investor in one of Southeast Asia’s largest integrated stainless steel smelters, located in Sulawesi, Indonesia. The project is developed through PT Obsidian Stainless Steel (OSS), a joint venture between Xiamen Xiangyu (51%) and Jiangsu Delong Nickel Industry (49%).[2] The project achieved financial close on a RMB 6.88 billion (USD 1.06 billion) debt package, structured on a 51:49 debt-equity ratio. Financing institutions included Bank of China, China Development Bank, ICBC, and others.[2]
Ownership
As of 2025, XMXYG Corporation holds a controlling 50% stake in Xiamen Xiangyu.[3] XMXYG is wholly owned by the Xiamen State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC).[4]
