The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is one of the flagship devices in the Redmi smartphone lineup from Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi Corporation. The Redmi 5 Plus was released on September, 8th of 2017 globally, in India the device was marketed as the "Redmi Note 5" although it has the same features.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 SoC[1] with an octa-core ARM Cortex-A53 2Ghz processing unit. The Redmi 5 Plus has a Qualcomm Adreno 506 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) running at 650Mhz, the Redmi 5 Plus has a 5.99in IPS capacitive multi-touch display that is scratch resistant. The display has an aspect ratio of 2:1 and a maximum resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, the screen also has a ppt rating of 403 & a 158 ppcm rating. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus uses single-channel LPDDR3 933Mhz RAM memory in 3GB & 4GB configuration options, the Redmi 5 Plus supports 32GB & 64GB internal ROM storage options with expansion capabilities.
The internal ROM storage can be expanded on the Redmi 5 Plus by using a microSD, microSDHC, or microSDXC removable memory card. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus comes with a variety of sensor options including: proximity, light, accelerometer, hall, fingerprint, gyroscope, & compass. The Redmi 5 Plus features a Dual-camera system that uses one front-facing camera lens and one rear-facing camera lens.
