Xledger is a multi-national provider of cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.[1]
Founded in 2000,[2][3] Xledger serves customers from offices in the United States, the United Kingdom, Norway, and Sweden.[1][4]
History[edit]
Jarle Sky founded Xledger Group in 2000[2] along with cofounders May Helen Kvarberg and Lennart Holen.[5][6] Then the chief architect and product director of Agresso (now owned by Unit4),[7][8] Jarle moved to Palo Alto, California in 1996.[7] Inspired by the move to create a web-based ERP system, Jarle resigned from Agresso.[3][9] Kvarberg and Holen joined him to found Xledger in June 2000.[10][2][9][11]
Xledger released Xledger Cloud ERP in 2005.[4][3]
Product[edit]
Xledger supplies Xledger Cloud ERP, a cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.[8][12] Xledger Cloud ERP supports a range of functions including core financial and project accounting; cash book; billing; asset management; reporting and analytics; budgeting and forecasting; procurement and inventory; customer relationship management (CRM); donor management; and time, payroll, and expense management.[13][4][12] Xledger is targeted toward project-oriented organizations, distributed or multi-entity organizations, international businesses, and non-profit organizations.[1][14]
Awards and Recognition[edit]
In 2011, Deloitte named Xledger one of the 500 fastest-growing tech companies in the EMEA region (#247).[15]
In 2016, Xledger was featured on Worldwide Business with Kathy Ireland.[16]
Xledger Cloud ERP was named a finalist in the Cloud ERP category of the 2018 SIIA CODiE Awards.[17] The company also appeared on the shortlist for Best Cloud Automation Solution in the 2018-2019 Cloud Awards.[18]
