Ubochi Emeka famously known as Xpargee, is a young attractive Nigerian singer, songwriter and a composer on the rise. He rose globally after his hit song "Let your blessing follow me" which went viral on video sharing sites such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. He is currently signed into "Arabakite".
EARLY LIFE
Xpargee was born Ubochi Emeka as the first of seven children of Mr. & Mrs. Ubochi, and hails from Owerri, Imo State. But grew up in Lagos, Nigeria.
EDUCATION
In Amuwo Odofin, Lagos State, Xpargee attended primary school and high school, receiving the first school leaving certificate and the West Africa senior school certificate. It is unknown if he continued his education at the University.
CAREER
Xpargee was influenced by his melodious voice and his friend who always made beats for him by hitting on top of the car or chest. He broke into the Music Industry professionally after many years in 2017 and had his EP OnGod in 2021 with his song "My ring tone" which received widespread airplay on radio stations and televisions.
Xpargee’s sound is a combination of Afrobeat, pop, reggae and dance hall. He continually tries to develop new sounds for the world to accept and for the youths to relate to on an infinite scale. So he listens to dance hall, Afrobeat, reggae, calypso and trap among other genres and has a way of connecting with his audience through his lyrics and melodies.
