Xpose Uncensored is an Indonesian infotainment and news magazine program on Trans 7. This program is part of the Selebrita or Selebriti dalam Berita. and the program was produced by Shandika Widya Cinema.[2][3]
History
Xpose Uncensored has a more casual approach. This is evident in how the program typically reports celebrity news. However, "Xpose Uncensored" has since expanded beyond simply covering the lives of celebrities, as is typical of infotainment programs, to also cover emerging national topics. Initially, the program was called Seleb Expose, but later changed to Selebrita Expose. It was only later that the program's name became Xpose Uncensored.[4]
Controversy
In October 2025, a broadcast of the channel's "Xpose Uncensored" program which documented pesantren and accused the Islamic boarding schools of feudal and slavery-like practices, was the source of public controversy, being criticized by Islamic organizations and politicians and with the hashtag "#BoycottTrans7" trending on X (Twitter).[5][6] This program has been discontinued since October 13, 2025 because it featured footage that was deemed to demean the dignity of the students and clerics of the Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School.[7]
