Yaëll Rakim Daniël dos Santos Borges (born 25 March 2001) is a Dutch professional basketball player who currently plays for Yoast United of the Dutch Basketball League (DBL). Standing at 188 cm (6 ft 2 in), he plays as point guard.
Career[edit]
Dos Santos Borges was born and raised in Rotterdam. He started playing basketball at Rotterdam Basketball and made the switch to the Basketball Academie Limburg (BAL) at the age of 16.
At the age of 18, dos Santos Borges chose to sign his first professional contract with Zorg en Zekerheid Leiden (ZZ Leiden), one of the top teams in Netherlands that plays in the Eredivisie.[1] On 22 January 2020, he made his debut in the FIBA Europe Cup against the Turkish top team Pinar Karsiyaka.
In the summer of 2020, he signed with newly established club Yoast United for the 2020–21 season.[2]
