Yaakov Beasley

Rabbi Yaakov Beasley is an author[1][2], teacher[3], and expert in Tanakh[4]. He currently teaches Tanakh at Yeshivat Lev Hatorah[3]. He has contributed articles or recorded shiurim to Israel Koschitzky Torat Har Etzion[5][4], Tradition magazine[5]and Torah in Motion[6]. He was also a scholar for the Israel Bible[7]. In addition, he created a podcast called "TanachTalks"[1][8] and has a podcast series on Spotify with Yeshivat Lev HaTorah[9].

Biography[edit]

Yaakov Beasley is from Toronto, Canada[1]. He moved to Israel in 1993[10] and lives in Alon Shevut[11]. He has taught at CHAT[12], Yavneh Academy, Akiva High School and Yeshivat Shaarei Mevaseret Zion, among other institutions[13][4]. He has degrees of MS from Yeshiva University in Jewish education[13] and BA from Bar-Ilan University,[1] where he is pursuing a doctorate on Micah[14]. He also studied at Mercaz Kollel[15].
