Yaffa Publishing Group (rebranded to Yaffa Media in 2015..[1]) is one of the oldest independent Australian publishing groups, established in 1925.

Yaffa publishes consumer and business titles, including Australian Defence, Ragtrader, Bicycling Australia, Fishing World, Great Walks, Bacon Busters, Australian Sailing magazine, Capture Magazine, Australian Photography Magazine as well as AdNews, that was initially released as a print magazine in 1928[2]

Australian Photography is the best selling Australian photography magazine, founded by James Coleman and later sold to his friend David Yaffa in 1983. The magazine was the first to publish photographs of the well known Australian photographer and critic Robert McFarlane [3].

AdNews was founded in 1928 as Newspaper News and covers advertising, media, marketing and technology industry news in Australia for over 90 years, also hosting AdNews Agency of the Year - Australia's longest running advertising industry award[4]

The company currently holds the Australian syndication rights to King Features with comic icons such as Popeye, Garfield, the Phantom and Dennis the Menace.[5]
