Yashpal Jain is an Indian finance executive. He serves as the chief financial officer and company secretary of Sandhar Technologies, an Indian automotive components company.[1]
Career
Jain joined Sandhar Technologies Limited in 2021.[1] According to the company, he has more than 26 years of experience in global and multi-location operations, and has worked across sectors including manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, engineering, procurement and construction, oil and gas, construction, hospitality and retail.[1]
On 5 March 2021, Sandhar Technologies announced that its board had appointed Jain as chief financial officer and key managerial personnel of the company, effective 16 March 2021.[2] A later company filing stated that he joined as chief financial officer and key managerial personnel on 16 March 2021.[3]
On 8 February 2024, Sandhar Technologies announced that Jain, then chief financial officer, had also been appointed company secretary of the company with effect from 9 February 2024. Following the appointment, his designation became chief financial officer and company secretary.[4]
Before joining Sandhar Technologies, Jain was associated with companies including Sintex Plastics Technology Limited, Dharampal Satyapal Limited, Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited and Dalma Energy LLC.[2]
Professional qualifications
Jain is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He is also an associate member of CPA Australia and holds an LLB degree.[1]
Awards and recognition
Jain has received several finance-leadership awards and recognitions. Sandhar Technologies' 2023–24 annual report listed multiple individual recognitions for Jain during 2022 and 2023, including the CFO100 Roll of Honour from CFO India, Asia's 100 Power Leaders in Finance by White Page International, awards from ET Ascent, Indian Achievers' Forum, Transformance Forum, ASSOCHAM, Biz Integration, India Achievers Forum and other organisations.[5]
In 2022, TradeFlock included Jain in its list of "10 Best Leaders From Finance in India".[6] At the 7th edition of the CFO Vision and Innovation Summit 2022, Transformance Forums listed him as a recipient of the "CFO Vision For People Leadership" and "CFO Of The Year In Manufacturing" recognitions.[7] At the 8th edition of the CFO Vision and Innovation Summit 2023, Transformance Forums listed him under "CFO Innovation Leader In Business Partnering".[8]
In 2024, Jain was named in the Auto & Auto Components Sector category at the CII CFO Excellence 2023–24 Awards.[9] Dun & Bradstreet listed Jain among its Finance Elite 2024 award winners and profiled him as chief financial officer and company secretary of Sandhar Technologies in its Finance Elite 2024 publication.[10][11]
In 2025, ETCFO's CFO Leadership Awards shortlist listed Sandhar Technologies Limited and Jain in the "Best CFO In Finance Leadership" category.[12]
