Early Life[edit]

Yasser was born in Singapore on 8 December 1984. He spent his early childhood in Faisalabad, Pakistan, after his parents migrated from Singapore in 1986 when he was 2 years old. Yasser first enrolled in Fauji Foundation Public School and then finished his primary school education in Beaconhouse School System Faisalabad (Canal Road Campus), where his mother taught English for 5 years.

While a student, Yasser was awarded recognition for his essays in Urdu language.

When he turned 15 years old, he received a letter from Singapore's Ministry of Defense stating he was due to serve mandatory National Service back in Singapore. In the year 2001, at the age of 16, he shifted back to Singapore along with his mother and siblings.

Career[edit]

After completing his GCE O Levels in Bedok Town Secondary School (with its profound motto "Success through Perseverance") and GCSE A Levels at Tampines Junior College, he was called up to serve his National Service in the year 2005 at the Singapore Civil Defense Forces. He was enlisted to Ubi HQ as a clerk. However, he was honourably discharged after 8 months when his physical status was downgraded due to an old hearing injury.

Yasser decided to pause his pending university studies and to instead use his freed time to earn some money in order to help his sole breadwinner mother. His first job was selling magnetic therapy mattresses in a Multi Level Marketing company for 2.5 years. He initially struggled because of his thick accent, hearing issues and culture shock. He continued to persevere despite numerous challenges.

He then became a full time real estate agent in Singapore in the year 2008 after he witnessed his aunt making a lot of money selling houses. Unfortunately he earned less than $1,000 in his first year. With no money for the $2 train fare to his Broker's office, he was forced to walk 25 kilometers on foot. Worse, he got evicted at midnight with his wife and baby son by the roadside. Desperate, he bought a $16 sales book and took massive action. That single investment in himself gave Yasser an obscene return on investment of $160,000 in the next 11 months. Today, Yasser is on a mission to make the real estate career great again and helps ambitious real estate agents quadruple their commission income within 90 days.

He founded PALS (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore in January 2016 and is the current CEO. It is positioned as a real estate marketing agency that helps clients market and sell any kind of real estate anywhere in the world by leverage marketing, technology and people.

In 2020, he published his book 'Property Agent Secrets - The Underground Playbook to Growing Your Real Estate Business in Minutes Even While You Sleep' which chronicled his struggles and triumphs as a realtor, which is available for purchase on Amazon, Apple Books, Play Store and select book stores.[3] Yasser also went on to publish Singapore real estate industry's first magazine dedicated to Real Estate Professionals - Property Secrets Magazine.

He was the earliest property marketing consultant in Singapore to predict and measure the rise of the DIY culture to the island nation's property sector, pointing to a doubling of DIY home purchase transactions in 2015: "In 2014, there were no DIY buyers. But now, DIY transactions are doubling every month. This DIY culture is here to stay."

Yasser is also the head coach at Yasser Khan Coaching and the Editor-in-chief of his signature Property Secrets Magazine.
