Yatton RFC is an English amateur rugby club that is based in the village of Yatton. They currently play in Somerset Premier. The Club run 3 senior sides and the majority of age group sides forming a colts (U18's) side for 2019/20

Founded in 1968, Yatton Rugby Football Club celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2018. It has played at North End Park in North Yatton for the whole duration of that time.

Team Colours[edit]

When founded the played in Amber and Black Hoops and a Green Away strip and that remains today. With the 2019/20 season a new kit was released with SMG Carpentry the main sponsor for the whole club and every age group now wears the same kit[1]

Current Senior Teams[edit]

Currently Yatton RFC run 3 senior sides all playing regular league matches. The 1XV play in Somerset Premier[2] while the 2XV are in Somerset 2 Nor[3]th and the 3XV in Somerset 3 North[4]. The 3XV played in Somerset 3 South until 2019/20 when it was transferred for some more local fixtures. [5]

Fireworks Night[edit]

The Yatton Fireworks night is an annual event run by Yatton Schools by is hosted at Yatton RFC. The Night makes much needed funds for the school and brings the village together.[6]
