Yevgeniy Breyger (born 26 July 1989 in Kharkiv, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic) is a German-language author.[1]

Yevgeniy Breyger emigrated to Germany at the age of ten with his parents and his father's parents as so-called Jewish quota refugees. He has published several volumes of poetry, essays and prose, for which he has received numerous important prizes in the German-speaking world. Breyger lives in Vienna and teaches language arts at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. His works have been translated into multiple languages.[2][3][4]
