Yi Han
Yi Han is an American venture capitalist, technologist, USA Math Olympiad Medal recipient and film personality known for his contributions to Pokémon Go and Debug Project.[1][2]. Han is currently a managing partner at the venture capital firm Pascal Capital[3].
Career
Han was an early product manager at Niantic where he was responsible for engineering and designing the geolocation platform and several monetization technologies that today power Pokémon Go, Ingress and other Niantic products [4]. Later Han was a founding member of Alphabet’s Debug Project, where he managed Debug Fresno [5] [6], to date the world’s largest automated sterile mosquito release program [7]. Han is currently managing partner at Pascal Capital, where he leverages his experience in building successful technology moonshots to help entrepreneurs achieve their long-term visions [8].
Earlier in his career Han worked in product management at Google where he launched new products for Chrome and Google Analytics [9].
Awards
Han is a winner of the USA Math Olympiad[10] and was awarded his US Math Olympiad Medal in the Diplomatic Reception Room of the US Department of State by John Marburger, Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy under President George W Bush. [11]

Han was featured in the film about top young mathematicians Hard Problems [12], directed by George Paul Csicsery who also directed N is a Number: A Portrait of Paul Erdős.

Han attended Phillips Exeter Academy, where he was the president of his graduating class [13], and Harvard University where he was a Harvard Innovation Lab Resident [14]
