Yi Kingdom

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Yi State, was a small state from before the Qin dynasty, with the surname of Yun[1], was located in the west of present-day Jimo District, Qingdao City.

The term "Yi" was used to refer to the people of the east, and the Yi State was one of the states among the Eastern Yi. In August of 722 BC, people from the state of Ji (now Shouguang City, Shandong Province) launched an attack on the Yi State. The Yi State did not report this to the state of Lu, so the "Spring and Autumn Annals" did not record it. Later, the Yi State was annihilated. Its territory became part of the Qi State. zh:夷国
