Everspring (Chinese:永春) is a housing estate located in the subzone of Nee Soon Link surround by Yishun Avenue 1, Yishun Avenue 6 and Yishun Avenue 8. It is named after the park that is situated in between Blossom Spring and Casa Spring along Yishun Street 42. It is located in the most north eastern part of Yishun, bordering Simpang and Sembawang to the north, Seletar West to the northeast, Nee Soon East to the West and North View to the south. Everspring is further divided into 6 sub-zones, mainly Blossom Spring, Casa Spring, Forest Spring, Valley Spring, Meadow Spring and Melody Spring,[1]

There are three public buses, operated by SBS Transit going to Yishun Ever spring. Bus number 806 from Yishun Interchange, Bus number 117 from Punggol <>Sembawang and Bus number 103 from Yishun <> Serangoon

Neighbourhood Centre[edit]

  • Blossom Spring @ Block 461 - Opened in 2019 September, it is a new project managed by Prime where it hope to create a community where residents can shop learn dine and play at a single location. From getting your daily grocery at Prime Supermarket, completing your meals at a wide ranges of F&B establishments such as McDonald's, PrimaDeli, LiHO or even enrolling your children to enrichment classes at KUMON Singapore, Blossom Spring hopes to provide the residents with a holistic experience, fulfilling their every needs.[2]

Resident Network[edit]

  • Everspring RN - The Resident Network Centre will be located at Block 462A when it is fully renovated. At present, due to covid restriction, the member are actively engaging with the residents thru Facebook and House Visit together with the Grassroot Advisor , Derrick Goh

Park[edit]

  • Everspring Park -Everspring Park is home to three supersized “creatures” – a Ladybird, a Grasshopper and a Bee. These distinctive-looking playgrounds at the Yishun park at the Blossom Spring housing estate invite kids to play and have fun. Everspring Park is a leafy, green space with pathways, exercise areas and a ball court. For families and children, the Everspring Park playground is the main draw. Children can be the Indiana Jones Junior of Yishun by participating in various mini kids style adventures.[3]

Sub-Zones[edit]

  1. Blossom Spring@ Yishun is bounded by by Yishun Avenue 6 and Yishun Street 42, approximately 20 minutes (2.0km) walk away from Yishun MRT Station. It consists of 650 units of 2-, 3-, and 4-room Standard flats which are numbered 462A, 462B, 462C, 462D and 2 rental blocks under the ownership of Housing Development Board. The name “Blossom Spring @ Yishun” takes inspiration from the natural greenery and beauty of the neighbourhood park located right next to the development, as well as the branch motifs that will adorn the estate. To encourage a “green” lifestyle, Blossom Spring @ Yishun is equipped with several eco-friendly features: • Separate chutes for recyclable waste • Motion sensor controlled energy efficient lighting at staircases to reduce energy consumption • Regenerative lifts to reduce energy consumption • Eco-pedestals in bathrooms to encourage water conservation • Bicycle stands to encourage cycling as an environmentally friendly form of transport • Use of sustainable and recycled products in the development
  2. Meadow Spring @ Yishun is bounded by Yishun Avenue 1 and Yishun Street 43, and comprises three residential blocks ranging from 12 to 14 storeys in height. At Meadow Spring @ Yishun, you will be able to enjoy a range of recreational facilities on the garden deck atop the two-storey car park. You can keep fit by working out at the adult and elderly fitness stations while the young ones have fun at the children’s playground. Alternatively, you can choose to relax and mingle with your family and neighbours at the resting shelters, pergolas and pockets of green spaces. The garden deck can be accessed by elevated link bridges from all the residential blocks. Meadow Spring @ Yishun will also come with its own minimart and a cafe. A precinct pavilion will be located on the 1st storey of the estate.
  3. Valley Spring @ Yishun is bounded by Yishun Avenue 6 and Yishun Avenue 8, Valley Spring @ Yishun is set among areas of lush greenery in the neighbourhood. The residential blocks that surround and overlook the development’s central green space represent a vibrant valley, which was the inspiration for its name. It consists of 824 units of 2-room Flexi, 3-, and 4-room flats.

Member of Parliament[edit]

Everspring is located within Nee Soon Link, a division under Nee Soon Group Representation Constituency (Chinese: 义顺集选区; Malay: Kawasan Undi Perwakilan Berkumpulan Nee Soon; Tamil: நீ சூன் குழுத் தொகுதி) is a five-member Group Representation Constituency. It is represented by Derrick Goh Soon Hee , a politician from the ruling People Action Party. Goh was fielded in 2020 Singaporean general election to contest in Nee Soon Group Representation Constituency (GRC), on People's Action Party's ticket against Progress Singapore Party. His running mates were K. Shanmugam, Louis Ng, Faishal Ibrahim, and Carrie Tan. On 11 July 2020, Goh and team were declared to be elected to represent Nee Soon GRC in the 14th Parliament of Singapore, garnering 61.9% of the valid votes.[4]

On 1 September 2020, Goh gave his maiden parliamentary speech where he used examples of residents' feedback on Self-Employed Person Income Relief Scheme (SIRS), as part of COVID-19 Solidarity budget in Singapore, to highlight the importance of good implementation with good policies
