The Chairman of the Leicester City Young People’s Council is the Head and Leader of the assembled and elected body of Youth Councillors on Leicester City Council.
By virtue of the incumbent’s role and with the Young People’s Council having the largest mandate of any Youth Participation group in Leicester, they are thus the ‘most powerful young person in Leicester’.
