YugLive was established as a digital initiative of YugGarima, a Hindi national magazine founded on May 10, 2009, by Ravindra Nath Mishra. The parent magazine, YugGarima, gained recognition in Uttar Pradesh and received acknowledgment from various state officials including Ram Naik (Governor of Uttar Pradesh), Dinesh Sharma (Deputy Chief Minister), and Akhilesh Yadav (former Chief Minister).
