Yushania lacera is a species of bamboo in the grass family, belonging to the genus Yushania in the tribe Arundinarieae.[1] It was described by Q.F. Zheng and K.F. Huang.[1]

The specific epithet lacera means "torn" or "lacerate", referring to the torn or irregularly fringed margins of the culm sheaths or leaf ligules.[1] It is an evergreen bamboo with long-necked pachymorph rhizomes and diffuse culms, growing in montane habitats of China.[1] Like most members of the genus, it was described from vegetative material only, as temperate woody bamboos flower at long and often unpredictable intervals.[2]
