Yushania microphylla is a species of bamboo in the family Poaceae, first described as Arundinaria microphylla by Munro and transferred to Yushania by R.B. Majumdar in 1989.[1] It is native to the eastern Himalaya, occurring in Assam, Sikkim, and Meghalaya in India, as well as Bhutan and Nepal.[2] The species belongs to the genus Yushania, a group of evergreen, thornless bamboos with long-necked rhizomes distributed across the mountains of South and East Asia.[1]
