Yuuka Akama (赤間 有華 Akama Yuuka, born on May 19, 1994) is a Japanese announcer for MRO.[1][2] (MRO - Hokuriku Broadcasting Company is located in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture.)
Biography
She was born in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. After graduating from Sendai Shirayuri Gakuen High School, she went on to Miyagi University of Education. She studied in the Department of Education for a special needs education teacher’s course. She got up at 5 o'clock every morning in her early childhood, jumped rope 5,000 times in the park, danced 20 variations of ballet, and went to school. This was called “gifted education of dance and ballet,” which was encouraged by her mother. In college, she belonged to the cheerleading club (the club manager had also experienced it). Also, outside of campus, Miyagi Ricey Lady (2013), Vegalta Cheerleaders 12th term (2014), Miss Universe Japan at Miyagi Prefectural Finalists (2016)[3] had been experiences.[4] At first, she was considering becoming a civil servant or a banker, but as she cheered from professional to amateur as a cheerleader, she felt rewarded to support people who are doing their best, so she decided to become an announcer. On April 1, 2017, she joined MRO.[5] After that, she debuted as an announcer on the MRO radio news of May 1, 2017. Special skills are cheer dance, ballet (for 18 consecutive years), rhythmic gymnastics (good skill: I-Shape balance, Scorpion), backward rolling, golfing, and putting on a Kimono. Favorite things are Lucanus maculifemoratus, appreciation of theater, and watching movies (favorite works: Burlesque, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, Black Swan). Favorite foods are all kinds of meat, ice cream, Zunda Shake, ramen, and bamboo shoots that her grandfather digs. Favorite flowers are Orlaya and Cerinthe. Her personality is tough, but she self-analyzes that there are also cautious parts in her love life. Moreover, her motto is "Where there is a will, there is a way". She has believed that if you do the Scorpion, which is a technique of cheerleading, it is due to what you could master with daily muscle training.
