Career[edit]
As senior managing partner, Yves Mirabaud brings more than 25 years of experience working at financial institutions in Switzerland and the U.S. to his role at Mirabaud Group.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Mirabaud spent several years at banking institutions in Geneva, Zurich, Boston and New York before joining Mirabaud Group in 1993.
Mirabaud became a managing partner of the organization’s Mirabaud & Cie entity in 1996, which offers private and institutional wealth management services, and served as a member of Mirabaud’s executive committee from 2000 to 2011.
He was appointed senior partner in 2012, and following a structural change within Mirabaud Group, has served as senior partner of Mirabaud SCA and chairman of the board of Mirabaud & Cie SA since January 2014.
Mirabaud also represented the company between 2005 to 2013 in the Groupement des Banquiers Privés Genevois and was the association’s chair from 2010 to 2011. Beginning in April 2015, he acted as chairman of the Association of Swiss Private Banks.
Mirabaud’s other contributions to industry growth include serving as a member of the board of the Swiss Bankers Association; president of the Geneva Financial Center foundation; and a member of the Fondation pour Genève committee and the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Services.
As one of Mirabaud Group’s managing partners, who function as co-owners and directors within the company, Mirabaud holds several positions at the firm, including senior managing partner of Mirabaud SCA, chairman of the board of Mirabaud & Cie SA, chairman of the board of Mirabaud (Middle East) Limited (Dubai) and chairman of the board of Mirabaud Abu Dhabi Limited.
