History
ZAP-Hosting was founded by Marvin Kluck, current Chief Executive Officer of ZAP-Hosting. Ever since 2010, ZAP-Hosting offers a wide variety of game and web hosting plans for private and business customers in Germany. Mid-2017 ZAP-Hosting expanded operations beyond the German borders and started to actively serve the international market.
Company name
Ever since the start, there has been much speculation about the meaning of and behind the word 'ZAP'. ZAP-Hosting founder Marvin Kluck was in the middle of his final test in middle school, which (in German) is called the Zentrale Abschlussprüfung. Marvin founded ZAP-Hosting shortly afterwards and took inspiration from it.
