ZEPETO is an online 3D virtual platform or a Metaverse launched by Naver Corporation. The app includes a social networking function where users can interact with others through their avatars in virtual maps. Users explore hundreds of virtual maps, play mini-games, shop for virtual items and create image and video content.

ZEPETO was launched on August 30, 2018[1] by Snow (app) as a Metaverse platform.
In 2020, the app spun off into its own company, named Naver Z (ZEPETO)[2].
In 2021, ZEPETO raised $150M[3] from SoftBank Vision Fund, and South Korean investors, including Hybe Corporation.

Christian Louboutin[edit]
On October 2, 2020, Christian Louboutin and ZEPETO launched a virtual map that including meaningful location to Mr. Louboutin, called Loubi World[4]. Loubi World included the Eiffel Tower, a classic Parisian bistro, and the Rue Saint-Honoré flagship Boutique[5]. ZEPETO users could try on the latest Spring/ Summer collection and travel across virtual Paris on this virtual map.
Gucci[edit]
On February 5, 2021, Gucci launched a virtual map on ZEPETO, called Gucci Villa[6].
Ralph Lauren[edit]
On August 25, 2021, Ralph Lauren partnered with ZEPETO to launch a virtual collection[7], with 12 total looks and over 50 unique items. The Ralph Lauren-themed virtual world included two iconic locatiosn- Madison Avenue Flagship store and Ralph's Coffee Shop[8].
