ZY Official

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Zion Mitchell Green (born September 9, 1997), known professionally as ZY Official, is an American rapper from Oakton, Virginia currently signed to and is co-partner of an independent record label, Wingspan Entertainment. He has released a multitude of professionally produced singles, and is currently working on his first studio album that will allegedly be released late March to early April.

Early life[edit]

Green lived with his single-mother and began recording music in high school. In fact, his first SoundCloud release racked up more than 15,000 streams in a matter of weeks. In high school, he was the kid that cut his hair in outlandish styles and colors, but later on became more conservative as he desired a career with longevity. Green moved to Miami in 2017 to escape the distracted life of a young college student as well as to pursue his musical career more seriously. He would soon meet Robert Lam, an aspiring manager in Miami, to combine forces and found Wingspan Entertainment.

Career[edit]

In July 2017, Green released his first single, "Yah Yah Yah", that has since been his most famous song on all platforms. He later released a music video that became just as popular in the Miami area, which convinced him to make another Miami-style video at a pool party with Robert Lam. Green’s most popular music video to-date is "Drip", in which the two come across magic beans and find themselves at a pool party with extravagant women and dancing. After such popularity, he has continued his career and release his first album, REVOLT, with high expectations.
