Zachary M. Bluestone is an American lawyer who is a nominee to be a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.[1]

Education

Bluestone earned his B.S., summa cum laude, from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service, his MBA from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, and his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he served as Managing Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy.

Nomination to district court

On May 6, 2025, President Trump announced his intent to nominate Bluestone to serve as a United States District Judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. On June 4, 2025, a hearing on his nomination was held before the Senate Judiciary Committee. On June 26, 2025, the Committee reported his nomination favorably to the senate floor by a vote of 12-10.[2] His nomination is currently pending before the full Senate.[3]
