Zachary David (born 14 August 2007), is a Filipino racing driver based in Malta. who is racing in the Formula Regional European Championship with R-ace GP. He was a member of the Sauber Academy[1][2].
Career[edit]
Karting[edit]
David started racing karts in 2014[3]. He then moved to compete in Europe after his karting achievements in Asia[4] (IAME Series Asia champion cadet class). And wrapped up his karting career in 2022[5] competing in FIA KARTING World Championships in Europe.
Formula 4[edit]
Started testing Formula 4 in early 2022[6][7]. Right after turning 15 (minimum age required) in August, David raced in his first single seater race at the ADAC F4 Championship[4].
Formula Regional[edit]
Ahead of the 2024 season, David signed with R-ace GP to race in the Formula Regional Middle East Championship and the Formula Regional European Championship.
Formula One[edit]
In November 2021, David was signed by the karting division of the Sauber Academy to race with them for the 2022 season[1][2][4]. At the end of 2022, following his transition to single-seaters, he was released from the program.
