Zahid Pervaiz (born; 1955) (Urdu: زاہد پرویز) is a seasoned Public Health administrator who served in BPS-21 as the Director General Health services[1] Punjab. He was awarded "Sitar-i-Imtiaz" for his exceptional services in Health sector of Punjab.[2]
Early life and education[edit]
Zahid Pervaiz received his early education from The Government Central Model High School Lower Mall Lahore. He completed his FSc from Government College Lahore and MBBS from King Edward Medical University Lahore.
Professional career[edit]
Zahid Pervaiz remained Medical Superintendent of Mayo Hospital for two terms 1999-2001 and 2009-2013,[3] Medical Superintendent of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital from 2001 to 2003, Medical Superintendent of Jinnah Hospital from 2003 to 2009, Director General (DG) Health Services Punjab (BPS-21) from 2013 to 2015 and Chief Consultant Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department, Government of Punjab, Pakistan from 2016 to 2018.[4][5] He is member Board of Management Jinnah Hospital/Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore and Member Technical Committee Punjab Food Authority Lahore.
