Zahir Shah is a Pakistani civil servant who currently serves as the acting chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Pakistan's anti-corruption agency. He was appointed to the position on 22 February 2023, following the resignation of Aftab Sultan.

Zahir Shah has been associated with the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for nearly 20 years and has held various important positions within the organization. He previously served as the Director General (Operations) of NAB and was later appointed as its deputy chairman in October 2021. In June 2022, Shah performed his duties as the acting chairman for NAB for about a month, until Aftab Sultan was appointed for the role. With Sultan's resignation from the post of NAB chairman, Shah has now been appointed as the acting chairman and is already overseeing the operations of the anti-corruption agency.[1][2][3]
