Zaleb Brown (born May 27, 1996) is an American singer and songwriter from Houston, Texas. He has been singing since his childhood. He used to sing at his school or in local events, but when he turned sixteen years old, he professionally sang a song. His brother encouraged him to sing professionally and uploaded his singing video on YouTube. He has faced ups and downs in his life, but he remained determined about his singing career. His first official song, Projection[1], has become famous among native Americans. His second song is Unconditional[2].
Early life
Zaleb Brown is the stage name of Caleb Joshua Brown. He was born on May 27, 1996, in Houston, Texas. Zaleb has seven brothers and two sisters. Zaleb is fond of music and singing from his childhood, and his inspirational performers are Michael Jackson and Chris Brown. Brown taught himself to sing and dance at a young age and often cites Michael Jackson as his inspiration. He began to perform in his church choir and in several local talent shows. When he mimicked an Usher performance of "My Way", his mother recognized his vocal talent, and they began to look for the opportunity of a record deal. At the same time, Brown was going through personal issues. His parents had divorced, and his mother's boyfriend terrified him by subjecting her to domestic violence.

He started his singing career in 2016, but his official songs, Projection and Unconditional, were released by the start of 2020. He is also a songwriter, and the lyrics of his songs are written by him. He has likewise worked together in recordings with his brother. He considers Michael Jackson as the core inspiration to get into music. Zaleb has cited Michael Jackson as the greatest music symbol and inspiration for him. His second inspiration is Chris Brown, and he really likes his performance style after Michael Jackson.
Personal life
Zaleb grew up stuttering throughout his entire life. It was incredibly hard for him growing up, and he had and still has major self-esteem problems. He often questions himself and whether he is worthy enough to be successful. He never understood why, out of nine siblings, he was the only one in his family who stuttered. It was a nightmare for him. He could not really cope with certain things in elementary or high school because this was hurting him in so many ways. He grew up struggling since his parents could not afford to provide.
