Zango Urban (Tyap: Nietcen A̱fakan) is a district and the *de facto* town of Zangon Kataf in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area, southern Kaduna State in the Middle Belt region of Nigeria.[1] The postal code for the area is 802.[2]

Demographics
The people of the district are primarily from northern Nigeria and Muslim from elsewhere in the country, mainly of Hausa, Fulani, Kanuri and Yoruba Muslim descent. Others are Igbo, Idoma. Few of the indigenous people, the Atyap, are also found in the area, especially those who practice Islam.
