ZebraSign is a cloud-based electronic signature and digital document management service developed by Zebracloud, AB, a software company founded in 2021 in Vilnius, Lithuania.[1][2]
History
Zebracloud, AB was established in February 2021. ZebraSign was introduced as one of the company’s main software products, focusing on digitised document workflows and electronic signatures.[3]
Features
ZebraSign includes several tools for managing electronic signatures and documents:
- Electronic signatures – supports Smart-ID, Mobile-ID, LT ID, and browser-based handwritten signatures with timestamps.[4]
- Signature Pad app – enables signing on tablets, capturing biometric handwriting data.[5]
- Virtual printer – converts office files (e.g., Word, Excel) into PDF and integrates them into the signing workflow.
- Document templates – users can create reusable templates with fillable fields and define multi-step workflows.
- Bulk sending – allows a single form to be sent to multiple recipients for individual completion.
- Electronic logbooks – configurable registers for recurring records with reminders and audit trails.
- Document management – shared folders, tags, and reminders for important dates.
- APIs and integrations – options for embedding workflows into external business systems.
Mobile apps
The service has companion applications for iOS and Android. A “Signature Pad” app is used for biometric signing, while a “Mobile” app provides notifications and access to workflows.[6]
Security and compliance
Zebracloud, AB holds an ISO/IEC 27001 information security management certificate (2024–2027) covering development, maintenance and support of IT software including e‑document management. The company states that ZebraSign processes biometric signature data in line with ISO/IEC 19794-7 and that the service complies with the EU eIDAS framework.[7]
