Zeitgeist is the annual cultural fest of Indian Institute of Technology Ropar.[1] It is a three-day long event usually held during the month of October. The 2018 edition witnessed 75 events and a footfall of 12,000+ participants from more than 300 colleges all across India.

Zeitgeist has witnessed performances by several Bollywood and Punjabi Pop stars, including Mohit Chauhan, Vishal-Shekhar and Sharry Mann.[2]
Competitions
College students take part in various competitions held throughout the three-day duration.[3] The events include:

- Torque - War of bands
- Lashkara - Fashion show
- Nukkad Natak - Street play
- Yatharth - Stage play
- Parley - English debate
