Zeoboom
Zeoboom is a fictional character and media franchise created by artist Amir McCullers under the Amirisphere imprint. The franchise centers on the titular character Zeoboom and his group of Ener-Zeo Beings (mastered powers given form) — including Zietix, Z-tomix, and Zeo-Giga—across comics, short animations, a tabletop card game (BolidaCardz), digital releases, and merchandise. The first full collection featuring the character, Zeoboom + The Z Filez, has been released digitally on multiple retail platforms.[1][2][3][4][5]
Creation and development
Zeoboom was developed by Amir McCullers as part of the Amirisphere creative imprint. The property mixes elements of science-fantasy and parody, featuring anthropomorphic “Terrian Z” characters (fox-like hybrids with unique hairstyles and Ener-Zeo powers). Amirisphere uses the Zeoboom IP as the core of a multi-format creative strategy that includes comics, card games, short animated skits, and merchandise.[6]
Publication history
Comic
The main comic collection Zeoboom + The Z Filez (also referred to as The Z Files – Zeoboom, #1 before Amirisphere combined them into one comic) has been published digitally and made available through major ebook retailers such as Google Play Books,[4] Barnes & Noble,[3] Kobo,[5] and Booktopia.[7]
Card game and digital products
A companion strategy card game called BolidaCardz exists as an official Zeoboom-universe product and is available in a digital format free, emailed to the buyer for every purchase of Zeoboom + The Z Filez.[8]
Protagonists
The Zeoboom franchise is built around several principal protagonists who also act as the “voices” of the brand on social media:
- Zeoboom — the titular, feral yet logical protagonist of the series. A Terrian Z living on Bolidaboom in hiding until he's forced to come out to save the planet from a near disaster. After evolving, his Ener-Zeo Beings took his voice, but his power and defense drastically increased. [1]
- Zietix — an Ener-Zeo made from mastered Zietic (Destructive) energy, giving him sentience. He is the aggressive and rowdy one. He's annoyed with Z-tomix telling him not to be so destructive.[1]
- Z-tomix — an Ener-Zeo being made from mastered Z-tomic (Creative) energy, giving him sentience. He's the cheery and creative one. He cheerfully annoys Zietix into making more sane solutions.[1]
- Zeo-Giga — another Ener-Zeo being made from mastered Giga (Giant) energy, giving him sentience. He is the calm and eerily quiet one. He's also the conflict resolver and stops Zietix & Z-tomix from arguing.[1]
Media and formats
Videos and dubs
Amirisphere operates a video channel that hosts short skits, comic dubs, and instructional pieces related to the Zeoboom universe, including how-to videos for BolidaCardz and short animated or voice-acted segments based on the comics.[9]
Merchandise
Official merchandise for Zeoboom is available through partner print-on-demand stores such as TEE-ZR and through direct sales on Gumroad.[10]
BolidaCardz (game)
BolidaCardz is a strategic two-player card game set in the Zeoboom universe. The publisher describes it as using action cards such as Buff, De-Buff, Attack, Defense, Counter, Breakthrough, Kick-Out, Trap, and Ultimate, with character-specific moves that unlock across turns.[11]
Distribution and platform presence
Zeoboom and Amirisphere maintain an active online presence across multiple platforms:
- Official website: Amirisphere.com serves as the primary hub.[6]
- Retail ebook platforms: Google Play Books, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and Booktopia.[4][3][5]
- Merch marketplace: TEE-ZR hosts official apparel and accessories.[12]
- Social and streaming: Amirisphere and Zeoboom accounts post on X, Instagram, and YouTube.[13]
Reception
Public reception to Zeoboom has been primarily cultivated through social media, direct sales, and community streams. The comic’s commercial listings on major ebook platforms and active promotion through Amirisphere channels suggest a niche but engaged fanbase. Independent reviews, media coverage, and critical analysis remain limited as of 2025.
Business model
Amirisphere’s commercialization strategy for Zeoboom includes comic retail distribution (ebook platforms), direct digital sales (Gumroad), print-on-demand merchandise partnerships, and digital game products (BolidaCardz). The project also uses social-first content (short videos, PNG-based character streams, and skits) to grow awareness and promote product drops.[2][14]
