The company was created in late 2019 by Sophie Dufort, an artist and crafter. By the time the first designs were released, the Covid-19 crisis hit the world, bringing production to a halt. It wasn't until the end of March 2020 that the company picked up speed. In April 2020, Zuri Designs Inc was featured for the first time outside the USA, on Hochanda TV, UK's largest TV craft channel. That opened the door to Europe for Zuri Designs that continued to sell on Hochanda TV with 1-2 shows each month.
The Zuri Designs products are extremely intricate and unique. They are made of FDA-approved, 100% food grade silicone, which makes them suitable for food applications as well.
The company sells their products on their website, as well as through various retailers located in USA, Mexico and Panama, and has recently opened the door to Europe sales in collaboration with the Dutch company Acrylic One.
