Jon is a serial entrepreneur, having launched endeavors in spirits, founding Little Wolf Whiskey;[1] tourism, having purchased and reimagined Cerro Gordo, a ghost mine town in California;[2] podcasting as the founder and host of One Day podcast for entrepreneurs;[3] and marketing, where he has shared his knowledge as an adjunct marketing professor at New York University.

Bier attended the University of Toronto, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Philosophy. He subsequently obtained a Juris Doctor from Bond University in Queensland, Australia. Although he is a bar-admitted attorney, he is non-practicing.[4]
