Cornelius T. Webb, aka Ryte EyE Ty, is a Florida-based African-American singer and songwriter, best-known for his song Freedom, featured in the movie River Runs Red.[1][2][3][4][5][6] He is the co-owner of Pretty High Publishing and One Way Up Entertainment.[7]

Early Life

Webb spent most of his childhood in Pompano Beach.[6] He was exposed to gospel and country music from an early age.[7]

Career

Webb is the co-owner of Pretty High Publishing and One Way Up Entertainment.[6] His career started after he formed a group called Extreme Justice and Simple Touch and performed in alleys, hallways, and malls.[7][6] Later, Webb started a few gospel groups, such as Ty Webb and Adonai Reigns, and Ty Webb and A City on a Hill.[6]

In July 2020, Webb released the song Freedom from the movie River Runs Red, featuring Taye Diggs, George Lopez, and John Cusak.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
