Àlamode
Àlamode are an American pop band from Duluth, MN formed in 2015.[1] The band consists of Nathan Holte (vocals), Ned Netzel (keyboards), Peter Knutson (guitar), Alex Piazza (bass), and Rio Daugherty (drums).[2] Àlamode was originally named "PLAYDATE", and released their first single "My Mistake" as Playdate in 2016.[3][4] In early 2017, the band received a cease and desist letter from a Los Angeles lawyer claiming that they were infringing on his client Princess Tatiana von Fürstenberg's trademark.[5][2][6] The band then chose the name Àlamode. "It's catchy," Knutson said. "And it's kind of funny. Served with ice cream, what's in fashion. It's a funny play on words."[6] On January 13 2018, Àlamode released their debut album "Swell".[7][8][9]
