نذیر احمد غازی
Nazeer Ahmad Ghazi is a renowned Islamic scholar, an eminent jurist, a theological orator, and a prominent writer was born in 1950 in a respectable family of Naqashbandi Sufi Alhaj Hafiz Raj Din Sahib alias Mian Ji Sarkar. He spent his early childhood in village Longo, Tehsil Kharian. His family is known as “family of Sufis and Haffaaz” that was his source of inspiration and he inherited religious thoughts and unconditional following of the last Prophet Muhammad (SAWW / PBUH). He got early education from Lahore and completed his education as he holds M.A LLB Degree from Punjab University.
His journey to Islamic thoughts and passion for Sunnah started from home with an exposure to spirituality, religiosity, and Sufi traditions. His quest to knowledge made him as a passionate reader who read thousands of books on Fiqah, Hadith, Sunnah, Quranic Translations, Sufism, History, and literature. Hazrat Sheikh Nazim Al Adil al Haqqani Naqshbandia from Turkey declared him as his Deputy in 1992, Makhdoom Babar of Nuashahia silsala awarded him Khilafat. He is a pragmatic Islamic scholar and theological orator; he worked with Radio, Pakistan Television as producer and host of Islamic and current affairs programs for more than seven years. He is regularly invited as part of different expert panels and guest of different religious programs and talk shows on Geo, Dunya, Waqt, Samma for the last three decades but he is anchor of Subh-e-Noor, the most popular morning program, on 92 channel and recorded 2000 plus programs on Seerat Nabi, Sahaba, Ahl-e-Bait, Saints and Sufis; and columnist too. Currently, he is with HD Channel 24 and hosting most liked morning program Noor-e-Sehar.
He is an eminent jurist, practicing lawyer and well respected member of Supreme Court Bar who served government of the Punjab as Law Officer, Public Prosecutor, Assistant Advocate General Punjab, and elevated Justice of the Lahore High Court. Also, he served as Legal Advisor to several public and private sector organizations. He conducted criminal, civil and constitutional cases but he is recognized authority on the cases of blasphemy and finality of the last Prophet Muhammad SAWW / PBUH. He authored the manual of Police Laws 1992-98 and several other research papers on the Holy Quran and its related topics. He is visitor and guest speakers to NIPA, Staff College, and other institutions in Pakistan and abroad. He represented Pakistan in several international conferences in Europe, Middle East, and addressed Seerat Conferences. He is also founder of DairaeMukhliseen (circle of devotes), a socio-religious group that foster the unconditional following and love to the last Prophet Muhammad SAWW / PBUH by rekindling spiritual fire among the devotees of Muhammad SAWW.
He is also a prominent writer who created the best literary and Gnostic concepts through Islamic teaching and Seerat ul Nabi SAWW. He deplored the blind acceptance of traditional doctrines and customs, he asserted that a return to the pristine faith of the Islam and following of the last Prophet Muhammad SAWW to restore the Muslims’ spiritual vitality. His concepts surpassed those of other contemporary Islamic thinkers and scholars in Pakistan; the best example is his book kaif-e-Sahar (A collection of Columns & Articles, published in various Newspapers and journals), which reflects his manifestation of his mystic thoughts those are need of the hour. He is a very much humble person and too kind to his students and followers. He had a very great power of creativity, and was insistent on being generous with his knowledge and enlightened through his discussions as motivational speaker on teaching of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) peace, Sufism, and interfaith harmony. He is the chairman of Diarah-e-Mukhliseen Foundation (DMF).
