Being exactly 1 second long, it took the place of “You Suffer,” at 1.316 seconds.

The song was inspired by the idea of short songs, specifically "You Suffer", and like its originator, it was more of a challenge then an idea. Its cover art refers to the duration of the song.

The song only consists of two words and what seems like a synth in the background. "-1" is written in the keys G major and alt key 9B, with a count of 132 beats per minute.
