On 24 April 2014, ICANN and Scholarships.com, LLC entered into a Registry Agreement under which Scholarships.com, LLC operates the .scholarships top-level domain.[1] The scholarships domain was officially delegated on April 2, 2015[2][3] and managed by Scholarships.com, LLC.
The scholarships domain was among the 500+ new gTLDs introduced to the internet in 2014/2015. Other domains introduced since 2014 include moto, free, radio and maserati.
