123 Slaughter Me Street (also called 123SMS) is a 2015 American survival horror game created by Impulse Game Studios, LLC. The player must run away from their ManEating Puppet as they make use of a broken flashlight. The game was released on Steam on September 25, 2015.[1]

Sometime after the game's second series, 123 Slaughter Me Street 2, also a spinoff series, 123 Slaughter Me Street Retro. This page explains these series too.

Gameplay

123 Slaughter Me Street
The protagonist is a criminal man. The player controls him as he explores a certain abandoned building, using a flashlight to illuminate and control the monsters, or puppets, that are attacking him as he makes his way to the exit. As an added bonus, it is possible to find relics in each stage.
123 Slaughter Me Street 2
This is the second game in the series. The story is a prequel to the previous one. It reveals the backstory of the puppets who were seen as enemies in the previous game, as well as the existence of a certain person who is at the root of the story. As a collectible element, there are eight "coins" that can be collected. All of them have the faces of the puppets engraved on them. After clearing all the stages, the "Survival Mode" will be unlocked.
123 Slaughter Me Street Retro
A spin-off work[2]. The characters look in Pixel art, making them look cute.

Characters

Puppet

123SMS

The Follower
A puppet that appears in 123SMS. It has blue fur and looks like a Goat. His gender is male. The player will first encounter him. He follows the main character around while running and attacks him. It is impossible to get rid of him without using a flashlight. He also has a habit of attacking you when you don't use your flashlight to go down the stairs. In "2", they don't attack you, but you can see them everywhere, and when you do, they are limp, nodding, and have lifeless eyes.
The Greeter
She is a female puppet that appears in 123SMS. She has pink fur and looks like a Bird with brown colored horns. She suddenly jumps out of the door and makes a gesture that seems startling. She can also be dealt with by shining a flashlight on her. In "2", she doesn't attack you, but you can see her everywhere, and when she does, she is limp, nodding, and has lifeless eyes.
The Waiter
A puppet that appears in 123SMS. It is a wyvern-shaped figure with yellow-green fur. He lurks behind an open doorway, and if you listen carefully, you can hear a growl that could be his. Like the other two, he can only be chased away with a flashlight. He also appears in "2", but he is also nodding and lifeless.
The Hunter
A puppet that looks like a mammoth. He does not appear in the main story, and for some reason his existence is only hinted at here and there, making him an extremely mysterious character.

123SMS2

The Seeker
A puppet that appears in 123SMS2. He looks similar to the Follower, but looking bulkier and more aggressive. He is active and moves around the house, searching for the player.
The Greeter(Revenge)
She appears in 123SMS2. It is also similar to Greeter, but slimmer and unhairy than her, and without the antlers. But she has a neckband of magenta fur. The behavioral pattern is a bit similar to that of the Seeker, but the time spent on the spot is somewhat longer.
The Screamer
A puppet that appears in 2. He is a biped with antlers and looks like a Dog or goat without arms. He moves slowly, but when he spots the protagonist, he shouts to let him know where the other puppets are.
The Nightmare
A demonic puppet with a pink nose and red fur like a clown. From the opening video, it is highly likely that he is the cause of the tragedy in this game. He sometimes appears after clearing a stage and leaves behind some meaningful words. He also appears in the main story, though rarely, and will jump out and attack you when you investigate a barn on fire, which you can sometimes see.

Human

The Criminal
The playable character in 123 Slaughter Me Street. As you can see from the animation at the beginning of the story and the name "Criminal," he is currently being sought by the police for some incriminating behavior.
The Reporter
Reporter of a news program on TV. The audio plays during the opening: A man has gone missing and "several puppets" have been found in the apartment where he lived.
Tim Denson
The adult male who appears in the opening video of 2, Caucasian. He was in charge of the production of a children's TV show and also made the puppets that were the characters of the show. As you can see from the poster in the background, he is also the creator of the puppets in this game series. He made a small mistake that caused him to rewrite the rest of his life into something crazy and horrible.
Tim Denson's Daughter
The little girl who appeared in the opening video of 123SMS2. She is also Caucasian, and her height and the fact that she carries a plush toy rabbit around with her suggests that she is still a young child. She is a victim of her father's mistake and is killed by her own father.

Reception

The game has received exposure for its resemblance to the Five Nights at Freddy's series for featuring similar elements, including animatronic creatures, and this game series was an element of parodies for Sesame Street.[3] As a fact, one of this game series’ key people, Tim Denson, is a name spelling punning on Jim Henson.

The game has also received controversial, but generally well, reviews on Steam.[4]
