Mankind Reborn is a first and third-person massively multiplayer online action role playing game (MMORPG) set in a futuristic persistent world.[1] The game is designed in a way that it emphasizes roleplay, player choice, and complete player freedom. It is being developed by the Oregon-based development studio, Far Frontier Studios. It provides a consistent stream of development updates whilst in development, and it is reported to enter Alpha in 2019.

Gameplay[edit]

Players can interact with each other on a series of worlds inspired by locations both nonfiction and fiction, spanning from Mars to planets and space stations located in the outer rim. The game revolves heavily around player communication wherein players can choose to become part of a faction consisting of like minded people, set the faction’s political agenda and economic policies. The player joins one of the eight premade factions and will have absolute control over the faction they are in– given they are in the correct position of power and authority. Alliances with other factions can be formed, disbanded or backstabbed if the player wishes to do so. The economy is fully run by players where every single resource extracted or item sold on the galactic market system is produced by the player.

The game is reported to be one of the first games to have blockchain[2] integration built in its core mechanics, in partnership with 8Circuit Studios. The precise details are yet to be announced.

Character creation[edit]

Players are controlling a character within the game world in third or first-person view. They will be exploring worlds, choose to participate in completing objectives, partake in PVP, interact with non-player characters and other players.

In the character creation menu, you can choose from a deep variety of customization options[3] to design the character you want. After choosing your characteristics, you can also choose which starting clothes you want. This can be altered in color and design.
