On April 10, 2020, Fede Álvarez was hired to direct the zombie thriller “16 States” with John Requa and Glenn Ficarra writing and producing the film with Álvarez, Shintaro Shimosawa, Rodolfo Sayagues, Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, and Charlie Gogolak for Lionsgate Films.^[1]
