The 1986 World Junior Baseball Championship was the sixth edition of the World Junior Baseball Championship, an under-18 international baseball tournament. It was held in Windsor, Ontario, Canada from August 2 to August 9, 1986.

Venue

The budget for the tournament was CA$175,000 (equivalent to CA$Error when using {{Inflation}}: |index=CA (parameter 1) not a recognized index. in 2018) and was raised by a local athletics club. The organizers said that an average of 2,000 spectators needed to attend what was expected to be 30 games in order for them to break even. The tournament was held at Mic Mac Stadium in Mic Mac Park. The stadium's capacity was increased to 5,000 in advance of the event. General admission tickets were sold for CA$2 apiece (equivalent to CA$Error when using {{Inflation}}: |index=CA (parameter 1) not a recognized index. in 2018).[1]
