The 1998 United States Soccer Federation presidential election was held on August 22, 1998 to determine the next President of the United States Soccer Federation. Robert Contiguglia, who succeeds two-term president Alan I. Rothenberg, has been involved in soccer in the U.S. for over three decades as a player, coach and administrator at almost every level of the game.[1]
