The 2001 Cuarta División de Chile was the tournament's 19th edition.
It participated 17 teams that played in a round-robin tournament grouped in two groups: North Zone and South Zone in a first stage. Finished this phase, the teams that advance to the next second phase —the semifinals— were four clubs to define finalists that will should be promoted to 2002 Tercera División de Chile.
This edition champion was Concón National. Likewise, Cristo Salva was also promoted as runner-up.[1]
