DOZR (Dozr Inc) is a Canadian-based construction tech company based in Ontario Canada. DOZR provides an online rental marketplace for heavy equipment rentals. In 2020, DOZR released WebStores - a white-labelled ecommerce software for rental companies. This is the first ecommerce solution for construction equipment rental companies.

History[edit]

DOZR was co-founded by Kevin Forestell, Tim Forestell and Erin Stephenson in 2015[1]. Previously Kevin Forestell had owned and operated Forestell Landscaping alongside Tim and Erin[2].

In 2017 the company expanded operations to Florida, USA[3].

Product Launches[edit]

The DOZR marketplace was launched in 2015 and expanded from Canada to the US short after. In 2021 DOZR announced WebStores.

Executive Team[edit]

DOZR was founded by Erin Stephenson, Kevin Forestell and Tim Forestell in spring 2015. Current CTO Adeel Zaman was added to the executive team in 2018.

Investments[edit]

The company has received a number of large investments, including FairVentures by FairFax Financial. in 2019 DOZR was awarded $14 million (CAD) equity finance. At that time, Juan Carlos Mas joined as a member of the DOZR board. Mas was formerly CEO and chairman at Neff Rental (acquired by United Rentals for $1.3 billion), CEO and chairman of Synergy Equipment, and former executive at MasTec.
